Who attended and what happened in 2015

On 2 December 2015, Holyrood held its annual Freedom of Information conference at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh. This conference evaluated how the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (or "FOISA") has evolved since being implemented over 10 years ago

Delegates heard from high level delegates who have been involved in the evolution of Freedom of Information across the UK including:

In addition to reflecting on the past 10 years of FOI in Scotland, delegates also took part in a series of masterclasses which explored some of the recent best practice developments including the revision of the Section 60 Code of Practice and the Scottish Information Commissioner’s new self-assessment tools, which aim to support public authorities to assess and improve their FOI and EIR practice.
